Greetings from Kigali Rwanda

Hi Family and Friends,

Sorry we have not been able to get email access for a number of days. But we arrived in Kigali today and found an internet cafe so we can send a quick update.

* Left Kenya on Wednesday Dec 20th after being graciously hosted by brothers and sisters in Christ from Maximum Miracle Center, World Vision and Voice of the Voiceless ministries.

* Went on a brief Safari with a bushman Wilford who took us to Nairobi National Park. At one point our road was blocked by a family of giraffes who would not move.

* Flew to Uganda on the 20th. Arrived and visited a detention center "prision" for street children who are being held.

*Visited Mercy Ministries Orphanage in Kampala.

* Held Concert in church on Dec 21.

*Arrived in Kigali today by bus.

Hoping to record "In Africa tonite" on Christmas Eve with children. Hoping to hold concert on Christmas day.

Please pray for: 1) Thanks for all the doors God has opened up and resources that He has provided for this tour. 2) The 1000+ orphans we will be bringing Christmas presents to from generous churches in the US. May they experience the presence of Jesus through the giving of these gifts. 3) For the countless orphans and others who will be attending the concerts. That many would believe in Jesus Christ and that believers would be encouraged. 4) Powerful times of worship in the churches and outreaches. 5) The Pastors and other leaders we connect with in the seminars. We are hoping to learn about their needs and see how we might help to make some connections between churches/organizations in EA and the US. 6) Safety for the team. 7) For the recording of the music both live and in the studio in Kigali. That we would be able to capture the music effectively and that we would be able produce a live CD from this tour that would honor God and bring attention to the needs of orphans in this region. 8) The logistics to all flow as God ordains.
